My next market:

Nature-inspired polymer clay jewellery, handmade in small batches

Handmade earrings, pendants and homeware inspired by natural colours, stone-like textures and organic patterns. Each piece is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and individually made by Kate in Hampshire.

Why polymer clay?

Polymer clay allows Kate to create rich colour blends, marble-like patterns and stone-inspired finishes without the weight of natural stone. That means earrings can feel bold and expressive while still being comfortable enough to wear all day.

Why shop with Kate Burton Designs?

Tuning into your beautiful is at the heart of what I make: jewellery and gifts that help you feel more like yourself, not like everyone else.

Most of my pieces begin with polymer clay, which I mix, shape and layer by hand to create colours, patterns and natural textures. I also use details such as gold leaf, alcohol inks and resin finishes to build depth, shimmer and stone-like effects, including designs inspired by opal, marble and other natural forms.

Polymer clay makes the jewellery wonderfully lightweight and comfortable to wear, while the finishing details give each piece its own character. Some pieces are coated with resin, but they are not simply poured resin jewellery — the clay work, colour blending and surface details are all part of the design.

Many pieces are one-offs, and even when I repeat a shape or style, the clay pattern itself is unique. No two pieces ever come out exactly the same, which means your jewellery still feels personal to you.

So if you love nature-inspired design, gentle colour, unusual textures and affordable handmade pieces with a little soul, you’re in the right place.

Much love,

Are the earrings made from resin?

My earrings are made from polymer clay, not poured resin. Some pieces are finished with a resin coating to add shine, protection or extra depth, and some designs include materials such as gold leaf or alcohol inks to create effects inspired by opal, stone, marble and nature.
